The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 required Scottish Ministers to issue two Codes of Practice, under sections 60 and 61 of the Act. In addition the Keeper of the Records of Scotland has issued a generic Model Action Plan (MAP) to help Scottish public authorities develop records management arrangements that comply with the S.61 Code of Practice on Records Management.
