Publication of Report on the Work of the Information Commissioner

The Justice Committee published its third report on the work of the Information Commissioner on 9 February. It highlights the intention to move from a flat rate of £35 to a system of graduated fees based on size of organisation for data protection work registration. Potential changes to data protection responsibilities as a result of the Coroner's and Justice Bill, currently progressing through Parliament, are also mentioned.
