Experts at the World Economic Forum recently voiced their concerns over threats that face the internet. In order to combat such threats they want to introduce a system designed to tackle cyber-criminals and reduce the number of online offences such as theft. They believe that the internet is a vulnerable tool and that over the past year ‘more vulnerabilities’ existed than ever before. FE and HE institutions are cautiously reminded of the importance of adopting adequate security measures to protect their users from the acts of cyber-criminals.
