Guidance on Data Protection Compliance
A draft set of instructions on creating and managing personal information has been produced by the national standards body, the BSI. This may prove to be a useful tool to FE and HE institutions to demonstrate that they are handling personal data responsibly and legally. The draft includes guidance on setting up a personal information management system providing confidence to data subjects and an effective assessment of compliance.
