Accessibility Law - Webcast

The JISC Legal "Accessibility Law" webcast took place on 15 November 2006. It was recorded onto video and is now available from the link below. This online version is a video recorded and subtitled version of that 2 hour long webcast. It is an intensive session of presentations and questions and answers on the legal issues of accessibility in the development and delivery of e-learning materials and access to online content.

This webcast, recorded in November 2006, is now available with text subtitles in a streamed version here - http://video.strath.ac.uk/06/131-06-02.wvx.

Access to Individual Sections

File markers have been placed in the streamed file. This means that you can navigate through the video as it is streaming to each of the different sections. This is done by looking in the View menu in Windows Media Player and scrolling down to File Markers. The marked sections will be displayed and all you do is choose the section you would like to jump to.

Subtitles

In the Widows Media Player choose Play from the drop down menu and switch Captions and Subtitles on to view the text of the webcast on screen along with the video and sound.
