YouTube and PRS Reach Agreement

As the result of a new licensing agreement between Google's YouTube and PRS (a collecting society for music royalties) thousands of previously blocked music videos will now go back online.  YouTube is paying an undisclosed sum to PRS. Once again institutions, as providers, are reminded of their obligations with regards to intellectual property rights and the need to ensure that where appropriate all third party materials are licensed for use.
