The UK Digital Archive (UKDA) are running workshops on how to manage and share data in research. Dr. Van den Eynden, one of the trainers, wants to encourage researchers to share data and raise the profile and value of British research. However, in so doing, she highlights some issues that will require consideration including; copyright, confidentialty and ethics. These issues will be of fundamental importance for researchers considering sharing data, or creating data in collaboration with others.
