Eleven Words Can Breach Copyright (03/08/2009)
The European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled that the reproduction of eleven words from news articles can be unlawful. Danish firm Infopaq was taken to court by a Danish newspaper body over its copying and reproduction of news articles. The ruling which would be of interest to copyright staff and others at institutions is available online here:
