The following Code of Practice is designed to provide guidance to the FE and HE sectors on issues of specific relevance to their day-to-day operations. As such, the Code of Practice does not provide an in-depth examination of the general principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, which are widely available elsewhere, but concentrates on key issues of concern to FE and HE institutions.
