QMUL has published the latest in their series of cloud computing research papers. The paper looks at the developing approaches in negotiated cloud contracts. It suggests that the cloud supplier market is maturing with a range of cloud contractual terms being developed which are beginning to include standards and certifications. The inclusion of standards and certifications will aid in providing increased legal certainty and compliance for cloud users. The paper will be of interest to those managers in FE and HE institutions looking to use cloud services for some of their IT provision and it also includes an insight into areas of concern for users in contract negotiation.
The paper Negotiating Cloud Contracts - Looking at Clouds from Both Sides Now is available from the QMUL website.
