Westminster Forum Projects- Data Protection and e-Privacy Seminar (8 March 2012, London)

The focus of the seminar will be on the European Commission's proposed comprehensive reform of data protection rules.  Key discussion points include: 

The 'right to be forgotten', consent for data processing and individuals' right to object to profiling. 
Compulsory notification of data breaches and fines for serious breaches.
Data portability and the commission's forthcoming cloud computing strategy.
