The Intellectual Property, Internet Media Research Centre at Brunel University, London is hosting a workshop ‘Copyright exceptions in the UK: time for reform?’ on 5 Dec 2011. The focus of the full day workshop is the parameters of introducing the Hargreaves proposed exceptions into UK copyright law and the conditions under which they should apply. The programme includes discussion on the proposed UK exceptions, their envisaged scope and legal nature, and enabling use and re-use of copyright content and there is an interesting line up of speakers.
