Following on from our earlier post on the Cookie Directive, the amended rules on cookies are now in force in the UK. The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 (PECR) came into force on the 26 May 2011, and the main aim of the legislation is to address issues of consent and privacy.
