The Intellectual Property Office has published an updated version (01-01-2011) of the Manual of Patent Practice to take account of developments in patent law. This includes the latest case law relating to prior use and sufficiency of claim. Although not legally binding, the manual provides comprehensive guidance on the patent process from patentability through to grant and infringement of patent.
