Information Provided in Confidence Cambridge University

Following a request for minutes and papers specifically relating to graduate student rents Cambridge University claimed that the information was exempt from disclosure under section 41 (information provided in confidence) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the “Act”).  The Commissioner found that the information was held for its own purposes and that the exemption at section 41 was not engaged.
